July 31, 2008 – The goats have won another round, finally nibbling a young maple tree in the goat pen to death, despite sprays, fences, wraps and wire. Here, they chew the branches after we cut the tree down.
They are smart and persistent little buggers, and once they know you don’t want them to do it, they do. And they have a ton of good stuff to eat. They are the adolescent brats of the animal world, bless ’em. Curse them.
