Donkey brushing – Winston, recovering, hanging out to the right

June 28, 2008 – Happy to announce the hiring of Acadia and Remi, two neighbors who have signed up – $2 an hour – to help out with some farm chores, including dog, donkey and goat brushing, barn sweeping and cleaning, ball-tossing and walking for dogs. They are great workers, careful about gates, easy with the animals.
 This morning, they brushed the donkeys, brushed Lenore, played with the goats, and went up to the pole barn to introduce themselves to the sheep. They are great people, and I am fortunate to have them working on the farm. Welcome, guys.
