June 23, 2008 – I walked on the path with the dog, and saw nothing. Annie followed and saw this young catbird, lying stunned on the ground. She picked it up, and it is home with her, resting and getting some vitamins. This is Annie’s rescue of the day. She lives her life, with courage and without complaint, and I love and admire her.
