June 23, 2008 – My friends Bill and Maria Heinrich, who are restoring the Grange in Hebron, and have restored a number of farms and old houses – Maria is the resident artist in the Studio Barn at Bedlam Farm – put a fascinating post up on their website today. They made a brick. A small thing, but a big thing. Bill is excited. Their blog, on which they post accounts of the Grange restoration, is already a fascinating piece of history, a kind of thriller and slice of history all of its own.
