May 17, 2008 – Got my first Photo Shop/ and Apple Aperture lesson from Melissa, and I like Aperture a lot. Photoshop is good for fixing damaged shots, but Aperture seems better for the graphic touches that I might like. I don’t like changing photos much, but once in awhile, as in this picture above, it works. The original didn’t highlight the dandelion seeds. By playing with the saturation and highlighting different colors, I got the effect I wanted. Photo was shot at f/11 aperture and 1/400 shutter speed, on manual with the 65mm macro lens.
