We were startled to find chickens off in the woods along the path the dogs and I walk on. Never seen them out there, and it’s quite a hike from their usual haunts. Lenore didn’t notice of course, and neither did Izzy. Rose did, and went nose to nose with them, but then she recognized them. They seemed annoyed, and then hiked back with us. Odd.
