May 7, 2008 – Sunny, cool. When I go out in the morning, out the back door, there is a crowd waiting for me. The barn cats are waiting to be fed, the chickens are hanging around to see if there’s anything in it for them, the goats are up in the fence jeering for cookies, and off to the right, the donkeys are braying a morning greeting. It’s not what most people see in the  morning when they go out to start the day, but I like it. Actually I love it.
