May 7, 2008 – Cool, cloudy. Am getting a fence put into the upper pasture on the hill, as two of my pastures are shot due to poor land maintenance on my part. Got to keep alert on a farm. Eager to get back to the book on Rose. Izzy and I had a grueling day, two difficult Hospice visits far away, a meeting with the Hospice bereavement specialist Jean Malone about continuing to work with Warren, and learning more about what a bereavement volunteer does, and why it is different from a regular Hospice volunteer. After talking with Jean, I see it is quite different, and I am grateful for the meeting.
Took the dogs four wheeling, need to take the sheep out, got to write a bit and blog tonight, expecially about the Hospice visits you don’t want to make.
