May 6, 2008 – So here’s a happy ending to what could have been a sad story. The goose Rose and Annie captured and rescued yesterday has been adopted by Annie – no animal can do better than this – and has been named Isabella. I would go over tomorrow and take some photos. Annie says Isabella loves the pond in back of her house, and there is plenty of goose food, corn and shelter. By this time next month, Isabella will be sitting in Annie’s lap and watching television. Isabella doesn’t like Annie’s cat, but has happily settled in, and I expect a companion goose will be arriving shortly.
No animal can have a better fate than to belong to the Bedlam Farm Goddess as much a Hound of Love as Lenore.
