Helen’s bed

  May 3, 2008 – After a patient he knows dies, Izzy comes into the house, jumps up the place where he last saw them, and lies still for the longest time. I wish I understood it,
but it is a very powerful thing to see. He has been almost immobile since he saw Helen last night. He is going back to see Warren this afternoon.
 Tomorrow we go to the Adirondacks to see a new patient, and we will also hang in there with Warren, as Hospice stays with the family of people who have died for more than a year.
