April 19, 2008 – I barely know Mongo, a Pit Bull, but he is a spirit dog, I think, a gentle and deep soul, a Spiritual Dog, which is befitting as he belongs to my friend and Pastor Steve Mclean and his son Josh. Mongo is one of those dogs, like Izzy, who is comfortable inhabiting the space his humans are in, and he has the ability to look deeply into your eyes and suggest that he knows who you are, and that he has seen a lot and is looking for peace. I like this dog a lot.
