April 15, 2008 – These are the eyes of Mother, shot with a 180 mm from two feet in very bright sun (which was right behind her, notice the green sun blemish which I chose to keep – tough shot), on manual, don’t know the exact settings, didn’t have time.
  What I was thinking when I looked through the viewfinder – I was actually trying to shoot something else, was that those eyes are the last thing many a mouse and bird has seen in this world.
