November 30, 2007 – Five years ago, when I first moved to the farm, Rose chased a squirrel up this tree near the Carriage Barn. Ever since, on every walk, she watches for the now imaginary squirrel and waits. It is never there, but she never forgets. Here you see the difference between a border collie and Lab. Lenore is taking  a while Rose chases her imaginary squirrel. I am thinking of buying a stuffed squirrel at Petsmart and putting it in the tree, but that will only make her crazier maybe. Or maybe not.
  Rose always finds work, wherever she is.
