November 4, 2007 – Cool, sunny. It is strange to watch yourself on TV, so I don’t. But Anthony and Izzy huddled together to watch the CBS Sunday Morning report on life on Bedlam Farm, which aired this morning. It seemed a lovely piece, and Anthony said the farm looked great. Paula got off a good line about my taking care of donkeys, her knowing the subways in NYC inside and out. It was disorienting to see your own face on TV, as above, better to be taking pictures of it.
  I was glad to share the moment with Anthony and Izzy, though. Rose was not interested and Lenore was snoring in the corner. Tracy Smith and Andy Merlis did, I gather a great job capturing a slice of life here. It says something about your life, when it is deemed worthy of a television report, but I have no idea what it says. So I’m going back to my work, to writing the chapter about Izzy.
