September 23, 2007 – Cooler. Have a rough week coming up. Lots to do on and off the farm. Ran into Mo this weekend, the Prince of the Ride-A-Long Dogs. Ride-A-Long dogs are as skilled as any trial and show dog, and as worthy, but much less heralded. They ride with people all day to all sorts of places, never jump out, bother people, fight with dogs, run off. They work hard and faithfully and provide comfort to their working humans. There should be a category for these dogs at Westminister, and if there were, Mo would win it. He is from Hillside Labradors in Pawlet, Vermont.
