September 5, 2007 — Fine day, sunny cool. Went to Saratoga to meet with Stephanie at All the Right Angles to pick out the paper used for my pictures in Art Harvest, where me, (pictures), Maria Heinrich (fiber art), Anthony Armstrong (concrete sculptures) and Mary Kellogg (poetry) will show our works October 13-14 at Gardenworks in Salem N.Y. (518 854- 3250). I chose the non-glossy paper, at Stephanie’s suggestion. All the Right Angles is on Route 9 in Saratoga Springs and it looks as if my pictures may be be sold there after the art show. I am excited, and Stephanie has great taste. She is helping me pick the pictures and frame and matte them, a first for me.
This is one of the pictures to be shown and put up for sale at Art Harvest, “Four Friends Share Their Art,” taken off of Stephanie’s computer. It is of my friend the poet Mary Kellogg, and it’s one of two called “Remembering Dick.” Mary will read from her poems at the Art Harvest and her works and mine will be sold to benefit Friends of Hospice.
