September 2, 2007 – Cool, sunny. Took pictures of Jane Hanks, a friend and potter and the Matriarch of the Hanks Family and Big Green Farms. Going to the movies this afternoon. Not too much damage from the brushfire behind the house – melted well marker, burnt doghouse. It is so dry that the grass is getting low and we might have to start putting out hay for the donkeys and the sheep. Will take the sheep out soon to graze.
