After breakfast, after meditating, we go out to the barn and we give the donkeys apples and carrots and we brush them, especially Simon, whose coat is growing in and who loves to be brushed and tended to. It is a beautiful part of the morning, animals altering our lives and routines as they have a habit of doing.
