The New Simon has emerged. Confident, moving quickly, chasing barn cats around, putting his head against my chest, wanting attention. He changes a bit each day. One of the people who saw him when he was first pulled off a nearby farm was shocked to come by and see him today. He said his hooves had grown out of his legs like horns, and his teeth were growing out of the side of his mouth and he could not stand up.

I love the adaptability of animals. They keep moving forward, clinging to life, nourishment, attention and in some cases, affection. Simon is a strong soul, a distinct personality. He is bright and affection. It is exciting to see this new Simon emerging.
