We heard a huge crack and we happened to have three veteran, tough country guys who love trouble working on the farm, and Ben, Chris and Andy all came running to see what happened. A huge tree limb fell on the power line leading to the house. The line held,  and the limb cracked off eventually and fell to the ground. We are lucky. The night before our wedding last year a huge limb also fell to the ground.  The wedding turned out beautifully, so this must be a good omen, perhaps the grounds way of welcoming us into the natural world.
