When we got to the Inn, we realized we had arrived on the wrong day. We were supposed to arrive today, but they had our room and so we will be staying until Friday morning, when we will leave early to get back to the farm for New Year’s Eve. O Magazine is interested in doing a photo shoot on poets on the rise, and wants a photo of Mary Kellogg, so we are excited about that. We’ll see what happens. Want a quiet day tomorrow, thinking about the New Year. Loving the David Remnick book on Barack Obama and also my Louise Penny mysteries and also Tana French, who is a terrific mystery writer. Listening on my Ipod to Kanye West, Bruce Springsteen, Willie Nelson, Gregorian Chant. Nice. I loved walking around Brattleboro. Stopped in at the Book Cellar, a great bookstore and said hello.
