You can look up and see the sky gathering for a winter storm.

My neighbors stopped by to warn me of a blizzard alert, 12-14 inches possible, starting mid-afternoon. Got to get over to the Rouse Farm to take photos, move firewood to the porch, get hay and water into the barn for the donkeys, give the barn cats a lot of food for tonight. Could go on awhile.  Kept Maria’s mom here, don’t want her alone in her house during the storm, stopped at Gardenworks to load up on some fruit and cheese, got plenty of food.

Maria is at work, and I’ll try and talk her into leaving early (no chance) or taking tomorrow morning off (no chance). I love blizzards,but I hate it when somebody I love is out driving in them. Emma is streaking for NYC before it hits there. Got my new Kanye West CD and two Beatles CD’s: “Revolver” and “Rubber Soul.” The dogs, like the other animals, pull into themselves when it storms, and settle. I’m sure the Satellite will go out tonight, but I will be out taking photos and blogging as long as I can.
