We are back from New York City to a very different place, Bedlam Farm. Sad to hear that the Bedlam Corners Store was badly damaged in a fire. The store name inspired the farm name. Good to be home, though, into a wad of mail, bills, chores, and absorbing a couple of days in bustling Manhattan, about to explode with Christmas visitors, but nice. Had a great meeting at Random House with my editors and we talked about my next books and e-books, exciting stuff which I will share once I get settled. I love New York, but it is sure overwhelming.

It is bitter cold here. Good to see the dogs.
