Sunrise, Bedlam Farm

More and more, I see the morning sun as a call to life, a choice every day to get up and live. I am excited about today, about feeding the donkeys, meditating, walking the dogs, making lunch for Maria, talking to her, writing a proposal for another Bedlam Farm memoir. I am eager to take photographs today, to seek out the light and color around me, to support my wife and daughter and friends.

Part of the Hero Journey is answering the call to life. Do you want to live? Do you want your life to mean something other than surviving, taking your pills, living in fear, watching their news? I sure do, although it’s an individual choice for sure.
