I’ve loved Provincetown my whole life a beautiful place filled with ghosts and change. Took some photos I dearly loved and lost them when my memory card failed. Cried a little. They were quite beautiful a painter by the edge of the sea in the afternoon light. Back at it this morning. We walked all day. Maria sketched. We talked. Spirits of Hopper, Eugene O’Neill, Mary Oliver’s new book,”Swan.”
For so long, I walked alone here. A sad wind. The ocean roars.
“Have you changed yet, Oliver asks in one of her poems? On the beach, I whispered softly, yes, yes, yes.
