Real farms are not like the pretty postcards and calendars you sometimes see. They are beautiful, but in a riotous, gritty and colorful way. Lots of buildings, junk, things that are never thrown away.
Went to Saratoga today with Maria to see the ponies. I used to love betting on the horses – made a living doing that for a couple of years. But I wasn’t really into it this year, though I much enjoyed watching a few races. Tonight, off to Glens Falls to celebrate the idea of training with Frieda. I’m looking forward to it. Thinking about buying a new lens, a 50 mm. Be great for the Washington County Fair.
