This house was the Glens Falls equivalent of a Hopper House, I think. Glens Falls is many things, which makes it so wonderful, but I am struck by the plain houses of the working-class neighborhoods, recognizable in any city, from Boston to San Francisco. I don’t take the sunspots out, they add to the feeling and drama of the photo.
