Artist Zoe Elwell is the daughter of good friend Chris Archibee of Mannix Marketing and she painted this portrait of “Rose” for Maria and I as a wedding present. We both love it (two people have tried to buy it, but it is not for sale) and hung it in the living room of the farmhouse.

Zoe is in the 8th grade. We are inviting her to come to Creative Union 2/Holiday Artfest in Dorset on November 13 and see if she can’t sell some of her work. We appreciate her  talent. So does Rose. It’s a strikingly original interpretation of the farm’s working girl (four-legged kind.)
