Ben Osterhaudt finishes up on my new screened in porch. It is not a big deal, either in terms of money or the realm of home restoration, but it is a big deal for the farmhouse. It adds a whole new living space for us. Maria can work there and check her e-mail, so can I. We can eat out there free of bugs. Sit out and watch storms roll down in the valley. It’s a huge addition to this farmhouse and our lives. Small things can make big differences. I’m very happy to have it, and you couldn’t have a better carpenter or friend than Ben.
