Mother and Rose have a healthy respect for one another, and lately this seems like a friendship. Rose likes to come in the barn and watch the sheep up in the Pole Barn and I notice Mother loves to take time out from slaughtering things and sit with her. An odd couple definitely, but they are comfortable together. And they are together much more.
