Wouldn’t it be nice to have a space where artists could bring good work and sell it at Great Recession prices, so that people who need their spirits lifted would experience the power of art and images and words to life people up, and not just see artists as people cranking things out for rich people. Many artists have struggled with that idea, but there is a particular relevance to it now that is compelling.
