Got a new, small point-and-shoot Canon Power Shot, a G 11, less expensive than almost all of my lenses and easy to carry. I like the quality and clarity of it, a lot. I think it lacks the depth and field and color impact of the big lenses – it only has the one small zoom –  and I am not getting rid of my primary camera, but this is a good move. It rests my sore arm, is small enough to fit in my pocket, perfect to take on vacations. And it’s more versatile than I might have expected. This is the first shot. Izzy is interested.
