I get to go to Florida Monday to give a speech to the North American Veterinary Conference (NAVC) at the Gaylord Palms, although I gather it’s just as cold there as it is here. Maybe it will warm up before I come. It’s a brief trip, to talk about the deepening relationship between Americans and their companion animals.
Winter is dug in here, and we will be seeing the same snow and ice for a few months. I wouldn’t mind a day of being warm, and I have always enjoyed talking with vets, a neat crew, and I learn a lot.
My stock jumped 25 per cent today, and is up 200 per cent since I got it. If I’d had any real money, I’d already be in Florida, maybe on a sailboat. But we will get a nice dinner at the Dorset Inn out of it.
