Shot with a 100 mm macro lens (no tripod, because of location of the icycle) ISO 100, aperture f/6.3 shutter speed 1/400, on manual focus (didn’t use rapid shot feature, don’t like it).
It doesn’t seem strange to me any longer to go out in the cold, stand on the porch and lean over the rail for a half hour watching an icycle drip and trying to catch a drop. I like photography because I feel it helps me bore inside of light life, and capture some of it.
I just got the idea it would be neat to catch a tiny slice of life in action. Took 100 shots, got one drop.
Was it worth it? I’ll never know.
