Maria has no sympathy for me whining about being a potholder widow. In fact, nobody has any sympathy for me whining about anything. She made hundreds of potholders that shipped out for Christmas, and more orders came in for the New Year. She spends a lot of time in the Studio. She hasn’t even gotten around to the handbags, belts and quilts yet. So sometimes in the evening I go out with the big lens – 100 to 400 – and shoot her working in the Studio Barn. She loves making fiber art. It seems to me like every work she does is a song.
