January 5, 2009 – Scrambling this week to get ready for Saturday’s photo show, my first (actually, counting Gardenworks, my third), “Portraits Of My Life,” to shown in January at the Redux Art Gallery, Dorset, Vt. Reception this Saturday, 3 to 6 p.m. No charge.  There will be refreshments.

The public is welcome and invited. I will be talking about photography, Izzy will be greeting, Maria will be on hand, and so will Mary Kellogg, who hopefully can be persuaded to read from her new book “Whistling Woman.”

We are still printing, framing, running around. Some prints will be sold unmatted and unframed, for $50, especially those of the dogs. If prints sell out, Christine Nemec can order and ship them. Other photographs will be matted and framed, and will range in price from $200 to $400.

All photos will be signed limited editions. Be interesting to see how it works out. The art stuff has always given me a headache. Now I seem to be in it. Makes life interesting. My camera will be there also.
