Flowers die well. Autumn.

by Jon Katz

The monks were right about one thing. We are all insignificant. We are all going to die. Flowers do it well. As Fall approaches, their colors seem to intensify, and the October light creeping in now is the photographers’ friend. I am focusing on leaves and other symbols of autumn. Maria is working today. I have to go to Saratoga to shop for food, take some photos, walk the dogs, read some books. I am reading four books at once now. I’ll post them later.
