July 10, 2009 – Misty mornings this week, but a whole day without rain. Clear skies for tomorrow, and the Saratoga Art Fair in Congress Park. I’m going to the Image Loft in Manchester, Vt. today to pick up some of my photos, but I’m not sure I will sell them. Maybe in Poultney on August 8. A writer is insulated from money. Publishers distribute and sell the books and bookstores handle the money. An artist is alone and out in the world, and there is no hiding. Maria thinks I’m nervous about selling the photos. She could be right. It has happened.
