April 16, 2009 – Sunny, cool. The dogs of Bedlam Farm are becoming a unit. Frieda is now able to sit with my dogs and be at ease. She and rose actually sit next to each other now. Lenore is her best buddy. Frieda is calming down. She did run off today, lunging out of the gate, and I found her at the rabbit hutch she has been trying to get into for weeks. Otherwise, she is a different dog. Almost social. We are getting there. We got a Gentle Leader halter for her, to keep her from pulling on walks, and this has calmed her down as well.
The shorn sheep went into the meadow across from the farmhouse. Time to start thinking about how much hay I will need for winter, and also about lambing preparations.
