On the farm, each season means preparing for the next one. The minute winter ends, you start getting ready for its return, shearing the sheep (soon), ordering firewood (yesterday from Greg Burch, maple, 3 cords) and then placing a hay order (Steve Reid, Argyle). The firewood has arrived and needs to be taken into the barn, stacked, and then moved up near the house before winter.
