January 29, 2009 – One of my favorite parts of the day is the afternoon feeding of the animals, where I take Rose out while I get the hay and grain, she goes up to the pole barn and holds the sheep, keeping them away from me. She sits up and looks down, awaiting the word, “bring them down,” and then she circles behind them and they come charging down the hill.
