September 28, 2008 – Angry sky today over Gardenworks. I had a quiet day. Visited with friends, read my Churchill biography (again), took some long walks in the woods. I took some photos, of the farm animals, and in the woods. I can’t quite imagine life before photography. Have work to do on “Soul of Dogs,” and am mulling my next book. Tour resumes again tomorrow, with some heavy traveling ahead.
 I am tired, in the body and the head.
