September 25, 2008 – Late in the afternoon, I grab my tripod, sling my camera over my shoulder, call the dogs and head out into the woods. There is absolutely nothing like a crisp fall afternoon to take a walk in the woods, the light lighting up the changing leaves in an evolving, enchanting way. Each leaf tells a different story to me, and I feel particularly alive when I watch the way the sun finds its way into the darkest corners of the forest, and touches different leaves in completely different ways. Each day I try and find a different way to capture that, and am grateful to photography for that.
