August 4, 2008 – I was away for a day, and when I got back, Rose was beside herself with joy, and Lenore came up and threw up a big blob on my foot. I smiled. Lenore has magic powers, and when anyone looks at her, they smile.
  Lenore is impossible not to love, and she did not seem to miss me or even notice I was gone. That’s one of the reasons I love Lenore. She is quite comfortable within herself and can love a fencepost.
  Thanks for the appreciative torrent of messages about the photos and stories about Marion and Izzy in Hospice Journal. I missed her and hope to see her tomorrow. Each day, some of us have to dig deep within ourselves to see what we are about, and sometimes I wonder if we will ever know.
