May 23 2008 – This is the first Farm Journal report from Brooklyn, where I have just arrived and not yet unpacked the camera. Going to meet Emma and Pearl. And eat. Em and I are going to take some photos together and I will report on Pearl’s high-tone life in the hippest borough on earth. Just checking in,  met people from Honduras Afghanistan and India. I always said there are two places I would love to live – my farm and Brooklyn. I love it already.
