May 1, 2008 – Izzy is fine, honest. I swear it, and here’s proof, a photo of him taking just a few minutes ago chasing the sheep around the meadow. I got quite a bit more e-mail than I expected expressing concern for him (yesterday’s post.) I was scolded for working him too hard and got many suggestions – dog shrink, weekend camping, time off, different food. It is very touching, and he deserves all this concern.
  I promise he is okay, and that I will make sure he gets some time off soon, and will watch him closely, shower him with love and attention, give him treats and bones, four-wheeler rides and time with sheep. He was happy, fully recovered and back at work.
 He is fulfilled and will be fulfilled, and he is happy and healthy.
  I think I might like to be Izzy.
