April 22, 2008 — Warm, sunny…from the dogs of Bedlam Farm, who appear to be seeking direction in life, pursuing different interests. Spring is just a few weeks old, and not too long ago I couldn’t walk five feet without falling on ice. Now I worry that we need rain for the grass to grow because we have little hay left and it is hard to come by right now. One extreme or another. Very much looking forward to tonight’s coming out for the poet Mary Kellogg at the Berlin, N.Y. Library.
Rest of the week devoted to Hospice visits, training Izzy and Lenore, and then I’m going to get started on my next book, “Rose, and the souls of dogs.” I’m excited about that.
Also word from HBO that the movie version of “A Dog Year” is done, and is awaiting a musical score. It will be released either in theaters or on HBO, and I have no idea when.
I’m bringing a camera tonight, and as they say, I’ll keep you posted.
