February 26, 2008 – Lenore is the only creature I know that can consistently get Rose to lighten up, and play. Rose’s work ethic is relentless, but Lenore is also relentless and a new morning ritual is Lenore challenging Rose to play on our morning walks. Invariably, Lenore ends up on her butt, but she doesn’t seem to mind. Lenore is the light. It is also, I have to say, nice to see my purposeful working dog, who never takes time off, take a little. Big storm coming tonight.
