February 10, 2008 – Came back from a weekend in New Jersey with Poor Paula, filled with editing, movies, Thai food and walks with Lenore, ran smack into one of the nastiest squalls I can recall – snow, hail, driving winds, and now, bitter cold. Took some photos on the way and back and did a “Dog Roots” photo shoot revisiting the street where I walked with Julius and Stanley when I started writing books, where Orson busted through the fence and herded the school bus, prompting a police raid, and also where I introduced the fetching Lenore to the wonders of the suburbs. Will post later tonight. Glad to be back on the farm. Busy week – writing, blogging, Hospice, teaching.
