January 26, 2008 – Lenore has done the impossible, which is to get Rose to play. Here, Lenore taunts and challenges Rose until she charges, grabs her by the collar, and takes her down, which happens every time.
  Lenore is heavier than Rose, and more stolid, but not quite as strong, strategically. Still, she enjoys getting put on her butt like she enjoys almost everything, and Rose actually is getting playful, something that has not happened before. Lenore just likes wrestling. I urge Rose to lose once awhile – Lenore is, after all, a puppy – but Rose does not know how to lose, to puppies, rams, donkeys or sheep.
